Hey dear readers! I know, I'm a very bad blogger who didn't even tell you where she's going and when she'll be coming... But you know, I didn't really mean it... I believe I had a deep black era... And hopefully it'll end soon.

I don't know if I'll be able post outfits regularly but I'll try to post whenever I can, ok? :)

So what I did when I was away...
- Had my first tattoo!

It says "never stop believin' in yourself" and the Y is S's tattoo.

- I drank a lot... Ate a lot, had fun a lot... Thanks to my best friends...

- I've changed my job again. The last one was killing me... Now I have a good job, less money, too much work to do but I'm much happier...

This is my new desk at work. It was my birthday last Thursday the 16th of June, and some friends sent me lots of flowers and chocolates and love :)

-Bought a white blackberry bold :)

-Bought more shoes than I could ever efford!!!

- I've sent S. to Australia in happiness and tears... :(

- I've learnt to be alone, though my friends never left me... I have a big family...

And whatever I like right now:

Hey guys! You won' believe it! I have an outfit post! Yay!
You know, I've thought about quitting blogging many times but it's like an addiction. Even if I can't even read any blogs, I feel responsible about my readers... Oh and I saw that now I have 27 followers! One more yay!!!

As I told before, I can't wear jeans, shorts or shorts skirts anymore at work, I'm trying to find to look good in business outfits... This has been one of my favorite outfits lately since I've added some very personal touch like my vest... Hope you like it... Next time, I'll remember to stay vertical :) The pants look weird this way but I can't be cool in front of camera when people are around :)

Hello! And well, I'm totally stuck! Now at work: No shorts, No jeans, even No short skirts!!! :( My wardrobe is divided at least by 2!!! I need lots lots of inspirations at the moment!!! Help!

I've just found out these over at forever21.com and I just realized that I could be a much happier person for a while if we had a forever.21 in Istanbul (or cheaper shipping cost) and I had them in my life now :)

Hello guys!

As you've realized that I've been super busy this week, I'm trying to read about 800 blog posts of lovely bloggers now... To sum up the week, I've quit my job as an editor for this architecture/ urban planning website and started to work as an urban planner for a company. My new job is what I've been dreaming for but well, the company is not but I'm sure it's gonna be a great opportunity for me... The job is difficult, really, I come home (1,5 hours earlier that the previous) exhausted. I think this will take 1-2 weeks, until I get used to it. Thankfully I'm working with an ex-colleague/ a good friend. That's a relief...

These are some photos from the little party for my last day at work... I had to cut of the others because they don't know this blog and I didn't want to include them in something they're not aware of...

It's been very difficult to take photos of this outfit! First I couldn't find a place to place the camera, then the battery died! Then I had to take the photos by my cellphone which ended up very bad. But well, I had to document this one!

On Monday, I was supposed to have a job interview. Well, it delayed. I was just feeling ready in this brown ensemble...

That was my new vintage bucket bag that I've bought from Merl's Etsy shop, I'm in love with it but in a very limited time, I didn't realize my scarf was totally closing it...

But again, I met S. and went to find some birthday presents for P. And on our way, we realized how matchy we look :) We both wore sweater kind of outfits (she wore a sweater skirt which was really pretty, I'm sorry that I didn't take her picture) and our boots also looked like each other!

Anyways, I did the interview on Tuesday and it didn't go well either... Next time...

Sew Psyched is Smokin' Hot!

Sorry I've no outfit post again but I wanted to show you my new nail colors. As I mentioned lately, I've bought two new nail polishes from Essie. I've been wearing the Sew Psyched for 3 days, I loved it so much that I wanted to wear it everyday! And it was very nice, was in a great condition at the end of the third day. Here it is:

I could apply it very easily and the color really goes very well with most of other soft shades...

Since my boyfriend didn't like it and I'll be dressing gray-black tomorrow for a wedding, I decided to change it and try the Smokin' Hot. I liked this color as well, it looks much darker than the bottle but darked is much better I think. Application wasn't easy though, you can see, it doesn't look as smooth as the first one. But the second coat was easier at least...

Whenever I feel bad, especially in pain, I try to dress up better. Cause then at least when I look at the mirror, I can say that, I tried!!! Today was such a day.

On a side note, I've found a big envelope on my desk this morning. I had purchased a sweet dress and a wonderful belt from Christina's shop a few weeks ago, because of the holiday I couldn't get it last week... The items was so nice that I immediately wore the belt. It's a dream belt yes!

Secondly, my Essie nail polishes also came to me today! One Khaki and one Deep Purple/Gray shade. They were my "good afford" gift for myself (after the TOEFL)...

Tomorrow is the "Teacher's Day" and we're planning to visit our elementary school teacher. She was definitely one of my favorite teachers and I'm glad that I will be able to see my friends again... (I still see some of them)

It's been a while since my last outfit post. Yesterday after TOEFL (it wasn't good by the way) I met with S and P. Pizza&Doughnut&Beer&Wine&Talk&Laugh... We had a blast again! Thanks a lot girls!

As I said, I'm mostly at home thus, no outfit photos. But I want to share with you what I'm into lately...

Boots from H&M SS 2011 Collection. I'll definitely buy them if they bring it here in Turkey.

An inspiration from Elizabeth&James SS 2011 Lookbook. This is what I wish to live in: Silky dresses and soft&heavy knits, put together with a belt.

This is totally my style, and definitely what I'd wear if I were a millionaire!

I'm planning to buy this knit dress from Zara if I find it. I loved the color and the neckline and its quality looks much better than rest of the knit dresses in all the stores. Yes, I've been looking for a knit dress for some time now.

And this color. This is a color that I've always loved. I can literally live in it the whole life long, it goes very well with my black/red hair too! :) As a basic item, I'd like a nice cardigan in burgundy.

And as the last but not least, this color of nail polish. Not Chanel of course, you know why not, cause it's not affordable... haha, affordable and Chanel, in the same sentence :D

I'm sure most of you are happy because it's half of the week already. Believe me, this is one of the most painful Wednesdays for me because at the end of the week I'll take the TOEFL and next week I'll work again!!! Especially going back to work feels terrible. Sigh...

Okay, wish you try not to see the awful color combination here. Not an outfit that I'm proud of but I couldn't make any better lately either! In fact, in reality, the boots were matching the shirt and "I think" they looked better over the jeggings... But as I look at these pictures, I wish I wore them under some jeans! Anyways!

This was what I wore to work on Friday. And on Saturday I've found out that I don't need to work whole week!!! There is a religious holiday here in Turkey starting from today afternoon, until Friday and my boss decided that we don't need to work today and Saturday either! What a relief!

Besides I'm taking TOEFL on Sunday (WISH ME LUCK) and this (hopefully) will be a nice time to check the question types etc. Do you have any tips? I desperately need some tips!

I don't really mix tan with black and white. With black, yes, but black and white... Not really... But I wanted to make some exceptions... Like yesterday, I've used my tan belt and I've added tan boots... Not the same tone but didn't look too weird to me...

Now we have an H&M too! :D Hahah I'm telling you what the CEO of H&M told before and after the opening:

Before opening: Our staff is ready for the long lines and crowd, we have stocks.

After opening: I wasn't expecting this much of crowd! I'm shocked! I understand that Turkish people are very interested in fashion... We're very happy!

Of course you're happy! 2500 people in 1 hour? This is a record sir!!!

Okay this is how H&M came to Turkey, last Saturday... I had chance to check the shop on Sunday morning, it is a big and beautiful shop with lots of nice stuff, but it was very crowded even though we went just in time of the mall's opening. I didn't buy many things -and I wasn't buying as much lately!- but I've bought some stuff that I really need, I liked very much and also that I can use many ways! Well, you can be sure of seeing them in these days!

Hello, remember me? Yeah, I thought so... I know I'm not (have never been) the best blogger, lately especially but you know, life... (yeah, blame the life, very mature! :P) Anyways, I wasn't really dressing up in a certain way and etc... Well, today we had a goodbye party at the office for our secretary so I though I better make up :D And wore shorts, like I always do when I don't know what I should wear...

Nothing special, Twist Shorts, F21 Wedges (yes, they're getting old, I'll try to remember I have at least 30 more winter shoes around) and the rest from local shops...

Holiday or not holiday...

Today was a national republic holiday. People don't work since Thursday afternoon... Me? I've been working as if it's an ordinary week and I'll be working tomorrow too, as usual... It hurts more when everybody was sleeping at home or having fun outside! Damn!

Everything is old, especially the shirt, it's 10 years old and has a little hole because of some acidic solution in university lab. I was studying chemistry before urban planning...

As I told you before, it's already winter here. Weird because winter comes in the middle of December here -normally-... So you may see this coat more and more, it's my light weight winter coat, has a very nice military look. I'll change its buttons too :)

Hi! You'll see some make up and some real outfits today! Yay! Something new for me too :) But more importantly, I have no idea about what to do with my hair... I'm not sure if I want to chop it off again, I'd like to go with an asymmetrical bob but I don't know what to do to the back by the time... It's getting longer (even longer the other parts, I swear!!!) Until some point, cutting just the back makes it look even more ridiculous... Help me.

Lately, I have no idea about what to wear. I'm serious, this morning when I wore up, my mind was empty, many dresses and skirts etc around but, no reaction... I just wore a pair of jeans, opened the wardrobe, wore the first top that I saw. Boots, belt, cardigan and bag. Very classical of what I wore for many years before I started to try dressing up better. Did I just turn back to my normal self? I don't know.

And no make up at all.

I'll try to have make a post later today but since I could take a photo, I wanted to share with you my nails. I did it 2 days ago, it's just a converted version of classical French Manicure:

It's barely visible in daily life and that kind of nice, much better than having weird looks around. I planned to make it on a brown polish first but then made this. It's gonna be more visible and more interesting and will attract weird looks I'm sure but that's okay. I can handle (I guess :P )

These are normal nail polishes, not nail art. But still it may be much easier if I buy a nail art polish I guess. Anyways, we'll see.

Until last year I didn't have any skinny jeans. That's because I thought they're not really flattering on me and I still think so as a matter of fact but I feel better wearing them now, I don't know why :) It may be like wearing skirts, yes I was wearing skirts once or twice a year... Now I can't live a week without them. Anyways. These flared jeans that I wore last week are kind of my boyfriend's favorite :) We had bought them together like 3 years ago and I basically wore it 1 year long, like 3 times a week or something... Yes, I know...

I know I haven't done a real post for a long time, but I've just realized how sick I was and I could just do some things today, before, just sleep, sit etc... Anyways, it may be a bit boring but this is what I wore on Friday:

Yes I sometimes imagine that I work for a bank or something. This was really an unnecessarily "uniform" outfit for our little office. But I sometimes do that and I kind of like it. So, can you see my new turquoise ring? If can't you can come back tomorrow to see it closer :)

And you can say that these wedges have become a part of my daily uniforms... What can I say? They're truly comfortable.

When I was in high school...

When I was in high school, 9th grade I guess, 98-99, I had wedge shoes. Most people thought they were ugly and weird. But in fact it was that time's fashion and I really loved them cause they could make me 6-7 cm taller and they were also comfortable. I didn't have many shoes back then, I was wearing boots all year long, it wasn't because I was poor, but I wasn't raised in abundance, and never felt that I needed more shoes when I was 16 and I liked wearing boots too. Anyways, I wore these boots everyday for like 6 months, they were in great condition.

At school, our gym class was the last lesson on Friday and that day we could sneak out wearing tracksuits and sneakers in stead of uniforms. One day after the gym class, I was wearing sneakers and keeping my lovely shoes in a plastic bag, on our way home, I left the bag in the bus, totally forgot about it. When I realized, the bus was on its way...

I went home and cried, mom got mad because it was very stupid thing to leave it there, we got a fight etc. But of course she said we could buy a pair like that later. I looked for everywhere. Couldn't find the same, bought a similar one but never the same. At least it was comfortable.

I wore it many times too, in fact I was wearing them until 2,5 years ago, once in a while, but then it's sole gone and I had to throw them away.

It was a long story, I know but I wanted to say that, I've always liked wedges and I was very happy when I found out they were trendy again... And now I have a couple of wedges, some catch weird looks but I never worry about it cause I really like wearing them.

So my last pair of wedges arrived in mail yesterday, after a long long wait! More than a month ago, the lovely Sharon of Elisharon and I talked about how we don't have some favorite stores where we lived and decided to make a shopping swap. She bought some items for me from Forever 21 and I bought some for her from Zara and we sent them each other.

Well, when I got the package, I felt like a birthday girl cause it was a big and full package including shoes, bag, necklaces and also some cookies and chocolates! You know the cookies and chocolates were so tasty that we just finished them yesterday :) And you'll be seeing the rest in time. Thank you Sharon! It was a nice swap! So I'm wearing these shoes here today:

So this is it. If you're wondering, the shoes are incredibly comfortable and I think they look much better than I was expecting.

I know I wrote too much today, but I also wanted to show you my true face today: Me, sick, cold. :P

You won't believe this. We've lost the fall. May be it's offended, I don't know, just left and we're here with the WINTER at the moment! It's already snowing in some parts of the country which is insane for October!!! We're freezing, that's incredible! My favorite season is gone :(

So I basically froze my ass in this outfit today and felt like a little boy from the villages of Alpines, especially in my hat!!!:

Sorry for the no make up close-ups but I thought I should show you the hat. I wore it today, since it was raining. But I didn't like to wear it much, it doesn't look as good as I imagined. Anyways, I'll try different ways to find a good looking one because it should pay it off! :)

Hi everybody! How are you today? I'm just a bit more relaxed tonight... I hope you're feeling good too... Today I was in kind of an experiment, we can call it: "how much can one mix?" This is the most I can I guess!!!

Nothing has a brand, all from local shops and markets and Ebay etc

I'm kinda glad how this outfit turned out. Better than expected.

By the way, you know I'm not shopping in like a month now. But today I've bought a hat. Just one thing for this month, I hope... In fact when I came home I realized that it's not just what I was planning to buy but sometimes something feels like "oh this is the best that I can find, and if I don't buy this, I can't find anything even close" and this was one of those moments I guess. And there may be some pressure of not shopping for a month!!! :)

I'll still wear the hat but not as much as I wish to I think. We'll see...

Nothing exciting

As I told you we participated (or attended I don't know which word is more suitable for this - because English is not my first language) an exhibition for the last 4 days (Thursday to Sunday) and today without any pause, I went to the office and worked... Not very nice, but that's the only job I have... Anyways, the exhibition was at least a bit of a change!!! I wore different things everyday and some of them I liked a lot but really, I had no time to take any photos most of the time... Just one day, my colleague took some photos thankfully. The outfit wasn't really exciting but it was comfortable indeed.

I'm wearing a playsuit by the way.

So this is our exhibition area, I was running between the conferences and then coming back here to prepare them to publish etc... As I said, nothing very exciting!!!

Hello! Sorry that I can't make any real posts lately but I'm pretty busy and I'm very exhausted because of the exhibition that we're in... Well, I've shared my blog with a colleague this may mean that I may have someone when I can't take photos :) Besides, she's pretty kind :D

If you don't mind, this will be my "khaki parka" of the season. I had bought it from a local outlet 2 years ago and had changed the buttons with the metal ones last year. Which made it a very nice fall jacket! And you can't believe how comfortable these boots are, cause I can't believe either! I wore them all day on Saturday and all day today for the exhibition and my feet feel just fine!!! Difficult to believe ha?

Yes, you'll hate my bag soon! Because I'm using it every single day... I'm just that kind of a person. It's really difficult for me to change the bag. No, I don't put too many things in it any more but, I just use it for a long time, then one day I just say "okay, I'll change it, let's use (for example) the navy one for a while" and I start using it and I use it for some time too. I guess I'll never be a person who changes her bag according to the outfits everyday but creates outfits according to the bag she uses! Anyways, maybe I change it tomorrow :D I don't think so...

Well, now it's totally fall here. I've already started wearing shorts with tights - my favorite combination for fall-winter-spring long... So I've been thinking about wearing my gray shorts with a pair of bold colored tights, and the blue that I bought at the end of spring -and could never wear- looked bold enough...

So We couldn't make it to the Fashion's Night Out Istanbul for some reasons... So we decided to make a "Sushi Night Out" for ourselves! Well, not really outside, this is the backyard of S.'s office but it's outdoors:) And meet P. too, she's the beautiful brunette...

Vacation Recap-2: The Night Out

The second night of our vacation, we went out to watch the Turkey-Serbia Basketball match. Yes, the day before the USA beaten us :) The match was amazing and we won i at the last second. So exciting. After that we went to the clubs... After looking inside of each one, I liked one and wanted to get in. and we had fun in there. And in some more clubs too :) Here are the photos:

I wore the dress I had bought from the street market last week and the Mango belt. My Dot24 Bag and added the beautiful salmon colored scarf that my very good friend Irem gave me for my birthday. (by the way, she re-activated her blog, it's in Turkish but, she's amazing and fashion is out of languages don't you think so? check it? Bugun Biz)

You know him very well now :) But did you know that he is so tall, he has to open his legs to keep his head in the photo? :)

This is the pedestrian route just between the beach and the restaurants. It was amazing.

I don't know why but I really like this photo. Maybe because of the colors?

And this is the Lady Gaga of the night club :) Oh he was so nice and kind, I liked him a lot! And he dances so good!

Holiday recap: Days

Today I'm pretty sick, I think I'm cold. But I need to do this... Well, now since it's finished, it gives some pain but I have so so many wonderful memories about it which cannot be kept in a camera... Oh well... Here is the days as a summary:

My second alternative for the beach was this little dress. At the back, you can see the very little, cute pool of the hotel.

Hi everyone! It's holiday today in here so I'm at home, surfing over blogs and having some inspiration, and that's all... Since I don't have a decent outfit photo (well, I have 2 outfit photos, one is with the H&M shirt but I feels too casual at the moment and another with head but no feet or with feet but no head, I don't know if you know what I mean, quick photoshoot and wrong configuration!) I thought I could share with you my girl crush... Has anyone realized this girl on Forever 21 website?

Well, the hair! I loved it, for one second I've thought I could give the platin blond hair a shot! Then I made up my mind :D But maybe a few parts in my hair? Why not ha? She is really amazing and she also makes the outfits look even better... I think I'd definitely follow her if she had a blog (or if I knew it)...

And the second part: I've learnt -thanks to ever wonderful Christina- that today is Mel's birthday! Happy birthday lady! This made me think of the early times on Chictopia because she is probably one of the first people I've start following. I remember her, she has always had her own style and I like it so much, and it helped me develop my own... Well in fact, she was the one who has taught me that dresses can be very useful and very pretty and easy everyday outfits...

First day of not shopping

I'm just kidding, I won't count the days of course. I may need a pair of socks for example, then what? Anyways, I'm just talking... Nothing new today, bad day at work... There was a job I've been waiting for, they announced the candidates and apparently I'm not qualified for that... Whatever, I'll just try to forget it... I don't know how I can do that but...

Well, the weather was quite cool lately and this morning there was a bit of a breeze so I thought I could wear a pair of light and comfortable boots. With a dress that I had bought last week from the bazaar, Mango belt and a Mango cardigan.

Sorry for my hair, it just doesn't know where to go after shower... And I wish you a good Tuesday, if you excuse me, I'll check some blogs and then go to bed!

Today I thought and said that "okay, I don't need anything anymore for like 10 more years"... Just after I've found my long time love BAG in Dorothy Perkins. I could never think (I don't know why, cause they have amazing items there) that I could find anything there... Anyways, the Saturday outfit first:

Now about the bag and the rest. I was trying to reach the gym after work and god I hate the traffic jam on Mondays! It's crazy! And I've got off the bus early cause I couldn't stand it any more. So I started talking to S. on the phone and I walked by the way. She was very unhappy because of the work problems and I know how it feels but she has an excessive pressure on. I wish to help her somehow but I can't find any solutions... Anyways, I kept walking while talking and at the end of the talk, I found myself in front of a Dorothy Perkins which I never look. But I just realized that I'm looking at a simple item. A simple bag. The Bag I've been looking for all over the world, just in front of me... I waited, thought, (still thinking though) I'll be on vacation in a few days and I'll need money. I, do, need, money. But I bought it. This may mean that I'll be broke after the vacation but it's all right. I can handle it.

And that was the moment that I said "okay, I don't need anything anymore for like 10 more years". And now I'm home, I checked the Dorothy Perkins' website, then I saw this:

Anyways, this starts to feel like an addiction so I'll just stop, keep my word.

And happy FALL!!! Hahah, fall came pretty quick here, it's cool outside, you need a cardigan or a light jacket and an umbrella would be very protective... I hate to admit it but I grew up and now I have to get rid of my "UMBRELLA PHOBIA" because I can't stand getting wet any more! And oh man, it's like London here, I've never seen so much rain in my life, I can't stand that!!! Of course, if I'm not in London for real :)

I took these pictures last week while I was buying this shirt from Mango. Sorry for the dressing room background... You can also see the white of the shirt hanging there because I was planning to buy 2 -one black and one white - buy I didn't like the white one on me, so I've ended up buying the black one.

And as I promised the close up for my E-bay boots.

I love how they look but you can't believe that they're basically like a pair of socks with wedges... Yeah they're that comfortable AND they have NO Water Resistance!!! Yeah, in water, they're just like socks... After a little rain, I just get cold because my feet are wet... I couldn't know that while purchasing them from E-bay... They sure aren't for winter (and crying face here) ...

Tomorrow will be a new work week which is very painful for me. But, wait! We have a religious holiday this week so I won't be working after Wednesday! Yay! Oh and I'll go to a little vacation on Saturdayi until next Wednesday... It's gonna be fun!!!

No I'm sure there is not a word like that but I like to use it for my totally blogs inspired outfits... Today's (yes, I'm showing you today's outfit, now I have 2 outfits to show you from before) outfit was without the blazer first. Black sheer blouse from Mango, Biker Jeans from Topshop, Boots from Ebay and you know the accessories that I mentioned in the previous posts... But it was until I found this blazer and it started to get colder...

(I told you it was windy, but it counts as an outdoor photo!)

It was dark so that's the best we could get. There will be a close up for the boots later, with yesterday's outfit :)

It was a pretty good day for shopping, I bought some things, hopefully you'll be able to see in a few days :)

Classical plaid

Okay okay, here I'm... It was so cold yesterday, the heat just dropped 15 C, incredible... I went out in a winter shirt and I thought "well, okay, it can't be that cold, yesterday it was hell hot!" And then in a second, I regret that I didn't get a jacket too! 32 degrees a day (August 31st) and 17 degrees next day (September 1st)? Wow! It was a crazy day!

I had nothing in mind really, I just checked outside and wore whatever I've found. So this is how it ended, pretty classical of me, in winter:

Okay, please don't judge the photos! I didn't have chance to find out the right configurations... But I'll soon... Most probably I'll use the "Auto" Mode :)

This is the one I always wear, my boyfriend's birthday gift to me... It has matching earrings too! But I don't wear them all the time because they're pretty heavy. But I wear this, everyday. Because I find it very elegant and beautiful. Yeah, he knows me well :)

And this one is from Pull&Bear, it's a locket necklace in fact, I'm planning to put my sisters' and their kids' photos in. I'll show you when I make it.

This is pretty much of it. he weather is pretty cool but I really like it a lot, since I can wear my boots again :) I wore another pair today, hopefully will show you tomorrow!

It's like a course name, I know but this is my 101st blog post, so I thought it might be nice to mention :) For this good occasion, I've bought a camera! :D hahahah yeah, I wasn't planning that, in fact, I worked some extra last week and made some money which I thought may go to a small compact digital camera! Yay! I had never had one! I haven't found the best way to use it, I was trying to learn when I took these photos:

I know they're not good yet, I guess I've taken each with different configuration :D I'll find the best one in time and it's gonna be much better and easier, promise...

So I've found this H&M shirt (that I was looking for) in a local outlet shop last week and basically wore it 2 days in a row. This is the first one, with a simple black tulip skirt and heels... Well, in the second look, I've just worn a pair of jeans in stead of the skirt :D But it seems much different, you'll see tomorrow.

I'm trying to plan my outfit but I can't think anything but this shirt :D I just loved it... I want to buy more like this... Any tips about where to find?

Season-less

I love to wear my clothes every way and every time... You already know that... And what I love more is the pieces that I can wear any season... This dress is one of them:

Mango dress, Mango belt, Lovely Shoes shoes

When I've bought this dress from Mango Outlet (for just a few $) I knew I could work it. But then I've realized that I've totally forgotten it! Well, never too late! Besides, it was a very easy&comfortable outfit for a very busy day! Love this kind of dresses so much, knee length and never creates a problem... Yeah I want more :)

And this is how I wore it back in April:

I also wore it in the middle of winter, for a concert after work with thick knit tights and a simple cardigan... It worked too!

As you already know I've been looking for new ways to use my (growing number of ) dresses. Using as a top, tucked into a skirt is a choice, but not for this one though... But I may start wearing shirts over them, I don't know. Now it's still too hot to layer... So just dress for now...

As you may guess, I can wear jeans for work, like I can wear shorts too... Basically I can wear anything I like. If I ever go to work in pajamas, I'm sure my boss just comes and laughs, tells that I look comfortable... I haven't done it yet but the possibilities are nice... The only good part of my job I think...

As casual as it can be... It was a quite cool day, so I could wear just jeans and a men's shirt... Just like I wish to do... Now I feel like I need to be extra chic to make it even :)

Yeah, that's what I do when I don't know what to wear and most of you are very jealous about it but, you know, I need to use all the opportunities... And I wore my shorts today again... You know, I had to...

In fact, the belt was always slipping up, that's why I didn't wear it most of the time... But well, this is how it started...

There is something I'm jealous about, that people don't work on Saturdays!!! Ah I used to work full time back last year, thankfully it changed later, it's just half day, at least... I'll probably wear shorts again or maybe "the" long skirt? Well, I'm crazy what can you do? :D

Least flattering pants

As you can I'm wearing the least flattering pants ever:

Yeah, I was planning to wait... Until having a "leaner" figure... But then I've realized that I may need to wait a long time. So I just wore it. I'll try it again, much later...

Besides being the least flattering, these pants have some more qualities: they're nearly the softest, shiny, comfortable pants I've ever had. So it needed to be in my wardrobe, as a backup...

I have some new nail polishes as you know. But I also have a matte finish, which I've used here. I really like matte nail polishes an this one just makes every nail polish matte, which is wonderful...

Do you believe in Astrology? I sometimes do... I'm a Gemini and according to that, I should have some good new job opportunities, in the 9 days, starting today... They say, "everybody wants to be you"... I just need one, very soon, or I'll get mad, seriously...

You know, I've quit one of the best universities of the country, I was studying chemistry, but I decided that I needed to do what I believe and I've become an Urban Planner. I just wish to do my job, that's all...

One more hole for the belt...

I've realized (once more) that I need to make another hole for the belt. It's a bit big for my waist. Anyways, I can say that this has been one of the easiest, comfortable, appropriate and difficult outfits lately :)

The playsuit was just hanging on the wardrobe door and the belt was lying on the table. I just wore them. It was comfortable because, you know, it was a dress with shorts! It was appropriate because it was too hot and the fabric is amazingly soft and light. And yes it was difficult... Besides the classical playsuit/romper + ladies room problem, wearing and taking off the belt takes way too much time... I tried not to go to the toilet many times but :D hahaha, how can you stop your body?

Biker's Face

Yeah ask me about that, "Biker"... I've attended hours of Cycling lesson at gym today after work... Well, not hours of course but the 50 minutes was like hell... Yes, I'll do it again! :D

While I wasn't around, I was basically at the gym. I'm serious. I've been there since Friday! Well, on Sunday we didn't work out we just sat under brightest sun and wonderful wind... That's why you'll see me darker every week, hopefully...

To tell the truth, I was in pain lately because of my neck hernia and this sports club, one of the bests in the city, had a campaign and we started... I've already started to feel much better, swimming two days in a row made the difference most probably... Anyways, I'll have my special program on Saturday so it's gonna be even better...

So let's start talking about outfits... S. took my photos after work out, here is one of the good malls (open air) in town, and where our gym is... Of course it was dark, she did her best, but my cell phone isn't that good to take darker photos... I was lucky that I could took some more photos when I came home too.

Green Days

I'm more likely to be in blues but today I've preferred to dress totally green. In fact, I had worn this dress last Saturday but for tonight, we had planned to go out for a dinner with girls, so I wanted to wear it again... It's definitely one of my favorite dresses... But we delayed the dinner to tomorrow, so I need to find another outfit for tomorrow... Great!

Okay, I think I can use separate pieces like tops and skirts/shorts in totally different ways. But how difficult to wear a dress in a different way?! I've basically created the same outfit. I wasn't expecting that! But yes, dress is the same dress... In winter you can have more choices, different colors of tights or cardigans etc. But in summer, even a dress is too much so well, sometimes I wanted to take the belt off... So do you have any ideas to wear the dresses in different ways? It would be very helpful! Thank you!

This is the first time I've ever worn a skirt this long. I had told you that I've been craving for some long summer dresses in this post. I couldn't find a long dress for myself but I've fond a skirt and I was really thinking about the better sides of the skirts: you can wear them over and over again with different tops and just create totally different outfits... So I've found this skirt near my workplace this weekend and decided to give it a shot...

I didn't like it on me that much but I have to admit that, it was a very comfortable outfit...

Oh look how matchy I am with all these prints on the skirt and the top with the shoes!!! Yes that's how I am :D

By the way, I was also wearing the necklace here, but I forgot to wear it again cause I remade this outfit to take its photos and it is just too hot and I was in a hurry, so I've forgot... But you can imagine, no? It looked very elegant :D

I was hoping "again" to wear my Zara Clogs... But I thought I had an interview and I had to run around, so I was afraid to wear them again...

Just one shot...

I have only one outfit photo today, I hope you don't mind... I just had no idea what to do with myself today, so this is what I ended up to be:

Cotton skirt, vintage shirt, a new belt from Pull&Bear (be sure you'll be seeing it a lot) and mango heels. I wore this shirt twice before, here and here.

You can barely see my face because of the sunshine but I guess it's not the important part, no?

Today I had a call from an architecture magazine to make some extra editing/writing etc. This may be a new and extra work to do and may be a little much income. Nice ha? Fingers cross... Waiting for the end result... And I've been waiting for a call for like 3 months for a better job but there's no call yet... Would you use a wish for me, to have a better job soon? Cause I'm so overload... Thank you!!!

Tiny waist belt...

I wish this following week brings you great joy!

I won't talk much cause I have a terrible headache... Does anyone have migraines like I do? If you have it, you definitely know how worse it is in summer, under intolerable sunshine and hot weather... So, I think you've got the idea...

On Friday, I could go to the open bazaar, which is like a fashion show :D But I can't go there all the time cause it's mostly finished when I came back from work... But this week I was lucky, I came a bit early. And had chance to check around... I was in great stress but I was lucky I found a dress for 13$ :) And I can't tell how much I love these belts, cause they make my waist look tiny!!! Check it!

Ok, I can't lie to you, you'll realize the half smile (a la Bruce Willis - I don't even like him) on my face... I guess I make it when I'm not in mood for smiling!!! But I guess there is a great pressure on me to smile while taking pictures, or I look too surprised!!! :D

Obviously I'm not in a good mood to make blog posts lately, I've been pretty busy, couldn't take photos or make posts... But I'm trying and thanks to my wonderful friends for their support! I appreciate every one of the comments, really, you're great and you're actually making my days lately... I'm totally sorry for showing you these photos but the outfit was actually much better in my mind. Oh well, imagination, imagination... And miscalculation... I know, I know, the pants could use some ironing but, it wrinkles quickly anyway! :D I know this is not an excuse, I'll try to put more effort on my clothes, I hope... This is what I wore on Wednesday. And on Thursday, I simply wore the same things here. Since most of my stylish friends liked it, I thought it would be perfect for a day full of running around in extremely hot weather and trying to handle things and that I don't know what to wear!!! Sorry for the lack of posts, I was bored... Seriously, I was bored, busy, couldn't take photos, didn't have any time and strenght to put together a post... So here I am after disappearing for two days... Oh you've missed i good dress! It was the third time that I was wearing it and I couldn't take its photos again! Bummer! Oh but the rest was all the same: shorts! Like this one:

I'm basicly living in shorts. I need like 500 new pairs of shorts... Ok, not that many but at least 50 for the whole summer! Am I wrong? No I'm not!

Yeah she bought this from F21... Besides buying from online shop being very expensive (like 40 $ for shipping!) it takes nearly 1 month to get the purchase! Oh and of course they don't have this wonderful bag in the online shop either! Thank you F21! This is so fair!

Oh I wish I lived in USA! I'd buy it, wear it every single day!!! And it is 26.80 $ which is a reasonable price I guess...

Inception

Hello! Wish you a very quick, easy and good week! And I wish these to myself too!

Saturday (after work) I've gone to see Inception and I can easily say that it was the best movie I've seen lately. And the cast was really very convinient. They actors (not the actresses) were just made for these roles... It was good, and the movie fiction was made good too. Yes I like, go see it!

I tried to be as relaxed as possible because it was like 45 Celcius out, and even this single dress was wet because of sweat when I went to the movie theatre! It's weird, the weather is weird, I'm no trying to understand, I'm just trying to be prepared! Oh and you can't believe how comfortable these heels are! I hope it resists too long!

Opening Ceremony

I don't have much to say as usual, I've been working today, and I needed to go to an Opening Ceremony of an exhibition after work (for work), so I just wanted to be as comfortable as possible.

I wore a full skirt, and a simple tank top, to put the outfit together, just added a black vest... And the shoes were just to make it more comfortable and more alike to my nails! I had not time to change my nail polish! Oh new today, I've added some mother of pearl accessories, and I guess the combination of beige and blue worked good, what do you think?

Yesterday, I was in a great depression because of lack of inspiration... I was thinking that I had nothing to wear... Then I took a tour around my favorite blogs... And bam! I've found Paige's yesterday's post! I've made some effort not to create the same outfit, but I wanted to wear my beige silky shirt and wrap my colored scarf too! :) But, I was also planning to wear this blouse again sometime, so I thought it would be a good chance... Like the weather

I feel like the weather in these days. Sometimes I'm very sunny, warm, maybe a bit stuffy... And in a second I become thunderstorms, noone can stand to stay next to me... Does this happen to you? I don't know, maybe it's just me...

I'm really tired of wearing skirts now, I always talk about going to work in 1 hour at least. I take a bus, then a ferry to go... And the same for coming back home... It sometimes feels really difficult, especially there are some people around, trying to see the rest of your legs or to tell stupid things just because you're wearing skirts/shorts... Believe me, there are so many of them around... I mostly try to shut my ears and just read my book not to see them but as I said, it's exhausting. Why do I ever need to cover all of my legs because of others? What's right about it? Anyways, I'm in "thunderstorm mood" at the moment, never mind...

So today I wore pants! Surprise :P I guess I haven't worn these since last summer. One more try then...

Living in tulips...

Do you know tulips are local flowers of Istanbul? Oh and they say that Holland stole it from here :D hahhaha, funny, isn't it? Do you have funny stories about your hometown? Well, there are many here but the tulips are today's topic... Since I'm wearing two tulip shaped items: a skirt and a top...

I've bought these two items in the same shop, on sale but in different days... The skirt is new... I always wish to wear skirts cause it's too hot but I mostly have full skirts and I don't feel comfortable in them, especially if there is wind... So When I found this skirt, I felt lucky cause I don't have a good skirt in this beige color and I thought I could wear it too much... But the skirt climbs up (again, like this one) too... Oh but it's not too bad, I can wear it :)

I went to the beach this weekend with S. after a long journey, do you see any suntan? Not really? Well yeah, we had 2 hours and mostly slept under an umbrella :) But it was what we needed, the sea was not that clean but it was enough... I need to do this more often, in a better + nearer place!

I know I know, I've been wearing shorts too much but I have no chance, believe me... Since my office doesn't have strict dress codes, I wear whatever I can bear!!! And this is what I could last Friday...

In fact I was wearing a red belt with this outfit that day but I just went out for a few minutes and found this pretty belt besides two skirts :) Another local shop was on sale :D This belt will be very useful since it goes with many things in my wardrobe!

Hearts and the premier...

Ok this is what I wore to the Premier of Avatar: The Last Airbender... You can find my thoughts on the film in this post. So I'm passing it.

The romper I'm wearing is again a Zara find from the local outlet shops near my office. I saw it before, in another local shop and in Zara and I was quite sure that it was a dress!!! And I think I'd like it more as a dress... Well, it's mostly because of its fabric: it's cotton and when I sit on it, it gets loose from backside... I don't know how many times I can wear it, but if I can't wear it outside, I wear it at home or for bed!!! :D Yeah, it's so comfortable... But I guess it was the belt what made it more put together... And I wore my long vest (thankfully) to make it less simple...

Yet another print close up! Did I start to be a print person? But all hidden ha? Well, the romper "again" looks dotted, but the dots are so less than the "hearts"... To tell the truth, I HATE HEARTS SHAPE! Oh but of course there are exceptions... For example if it's hearts from the playing cards, it's ok... And on this, they looked more like dots, except the buttons... I'll probably change the buttons soon but I wanted to use it at least once as it is... I think everything is possible in this world since I'm wearing hearts!!! :D

This was what I was wearing when it was raining like "cats and dogs" and someone threw me an egg while I was trying to walk to work under that rain... As I said before, I was lucky, wearing pants or the egg might cut my leg...

I had no idea what to wear that wednesday morning and it was raining and that's just what I could do... I really hate wearing jeans in summer (for some time now) because even if it's raining it's too hot and it sticks all over... Anyways, now I'm happy that I wore those thick jeans cause the egg shell hurt too much even on it!

So is this your first time seeing me with my hat? I like it much and I try to wear it like at least once a week? And since it was raining, it was a good idea to wear a hat that day too...

Ah and I'll show you something funny :D This is me when I found out someone is on the neighbor's window :D

One piece and the rest...

I'm just back from the Avatar: The Last Airbender Premier... They just gave us some popcorn and coke... And the film was very bad... Oh of course I don't know how you'd feel if you didn't see the animation series... I was obsessed, it's one of the most meaningful and "full" things that I watched... And I was expecting more... Knowing that it's not gonna be as good as the series, I was expecting something a bit meaningful at least... But man, all the casts are so bad and inappropriate! And it's just 95 minutes, how can they make it so short? It's just so dull... Anyways, I'm glad we didn't pay! :D

Before the rain, there was a cloudy but very hot day, on Tuesday... And I was trying to find some ways to wear my Mango playsuit again... This is how it looked:

I have no idea how to style this suit again! I may wear with tights and a shirt in fall but I'd really like to wear it more in summer cause it's pretty cool and good for these hot days...

Playing cards and throwing eggs...

Hey everyone... Well, I know I've been talking about it's too hot etc... It still is hot, and just I wished for was a little wind... And today, it was raining as big as walnuts! I had a bad day, really... Astrologically they say today is the T-square or Cosmic Cross which will touch and change our lives forever... Do you believe that? I don't really believe in daily horoscopes but I do believe the planets' positions' energies may affect us... And if it's affecting me so bad, I don't want it!!! Because, I had to walk under that rain for just 2 minutes today, and I was wet to hell! Then I had to buy an umbrella, and you know I'm afraid of umbrellas... I had to do that or I couldn't even walk and it was even difficult under an umbrella! And then, guess what? You can't guess, really... Some stupid person THREW AN EGG to me! First I couldn't understand when it hit my leg! Then I looked back cause it hurt really bad! And I saw it on my pants and on the floor... Man, it was already raining like crazy and I was already very wet and late! What kind of a retard does that?!!! I looked around, under rain... Noone around looked knowing or interested... And I could do nothing but walking away! And I'm still angry!

Anyways, I was lucky at least, wearing pants... It might cut my leg...

Okay, now this is what I was wearing on Monday... It was a very warm day again and I had bought this top on Saturday, wanted to wear it so bad! So just created a simple, calm outfit... The pattern on the blouse is not dots... They are spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs... How sweet it is! :D

Sunday Movies

On Sunday (a very hot day again) I took my 10-year-old-niece to watch Toy Story 3. We ate, drank coke and milkshake, watched movie and walked a lot! And had a great time together as always... She took my photos too :)
